How does it work?

HAESTUS is throttle-capable solid rocket motor with support head-end ignition and mounting options at one or both ends. Thrust control is achieved via a 2-part thrust flow diversion mechanism, and performance is maintained through the use of an aero-spike within the throttleable nozzle on the tail end of the motor.

This is all made possible with a proprietary fuel mixture, a well balanced in-house solid rocket fuel grain recipe. Internally referred to as “Cake-Batter” for its well balanced properties and manufacturing process.
